For Airbus Defence & Space in Taufkirchen we are looking for a “FCAS System Engineer Dynamic Network Management (d/f/m)”. As a successful candidate you will join the System engineering  group in the End-to-End Communications engineering organization.

Task and responsibilities 

• Key position in FCAS Combat cloud dynamic network management,

• Interface with external stakeholders (THALES, Indra, Dassault Aviation…) to define the technical work-sharing and ensure technical consistency throughout regular communication and workshops,

• Main technical interface with all Airbus program lines to influence airbus proposal and positioning,

• Steer of demonstration connectivity activities done by internal technical organization,

• Harmonization between French, German and Spanish internal portfolio,

• Regular communication and report within FCAS Combat cloud project organization

• Ensure deployment of an efficient system approach (Method, Process and Tools),

• Foster creativity and agility.

Some travels are expected, mostly in Europe.

Your profile

• Engineering degree in Telecommunications, electrical engineering or similar

• Background in aeronautical communications and system integrations.

• Strong experience in complex system organization.

• Experience in complex telecommunication systems definition (competencies in baseband communication, electronics, digital processing, competencies in signal processing, antenna & spatial communication, Software Defined Radio, Network & SDN),

• Experience in dynamic network management 

• Knowledge in Model Based System Engineering and Agile 

• Experience in Requirements management, design definition, System engineering.

• Assertiveness and good communication skills

• Ability to synthesize information and  take decisions in complex situations,

• Adaptability and Team spirit,

• Ability to work with different engineering entities in a multicultural environment,

• Language Skills: negotiation level in German and English
